Heritage Pork

Heritage breed pigs, on pasture. No imports here, from our customized breeding stock to the organic feed our animals eat.

GrassFed Beef

Our cows wander our organic pastures, browsing forages and soaking up the sun. Plenty of exercise.

Farmstead Grains

We fresh mill our own organic heirloom corn into grits, cornmeal and polenta to order, using our own mill, on the farm.

Georgia’s Best Local Pork

Where intentional
 design + function
makes the difference

Turns out there is a “just right” when it comes to scale. Our north Georgia farm has enough space to support the healthy lifestyle of our animals and to grow all of the food they need. We’re building the fertility of this small corner of the earth while growing delicious healthy food.

The animals nourish the land. The land nourishes the animals. Call it “full circle” farming. Or just call it delicious.

TASTE THE DIFFERENCE
Hint: It’s what you don’t need.

Sunshine, organic feed, room to roam. But what’s it missing?

We grow good, pure food that’s full of flavor. No hormones to promote fast grown. No antibiotics. No preservatives, additives, pesticides or corners cut. Our grain products are 100% organic corn grown by us, 100% gluten-free. All of the food we grow is free of the artificial means to make a fast buck.Food that’s good for the land, good for the people, and good for you, too.

Local Meats on Your Plate

Our locally grown meats are available to consumers, restaurants and food service establishments in Georgia.

The Swancy Family Farm

Farmily = a family + farm

We didn’t plan on farming. But the family farm called to us and we answered, leaving behind career paths in a chemistry lab. A new farming strategy was hatched, one that matched our past successes  with the growing hunger for organic food. We started with produce and cows. Added heritage pigs. An experiment with a mobile farmers market. And finally, a store open 7 days a week.

Customer Testimonials

Don’t take our word for it – here’s what our customers are saying:

Tonight was my first taste of Riverview Farms delicious pig and I am VERY happy!! I was happy to see that, even raw, it looked like it was going to be better than what I get at the store. Cooked – I first did a quick brine in salt water but did no other seasoning, because I wanted to taste the meat. Grilled it to 145ish degrees and enjoyed it with no extra seasoning, not even salt. It was super tender and delicious! I especially liked the fat ring that encased the chop . . . Must say, I ate nearly all of that too. Long story short – thank you! It was delicious!!!

Incredible beef! We are primarily plant based, but when we eat beef/meat we want the highest and tastiest product available.
Riverview farms is exactly what we are looking for. Grass fed all the way, leaner meat but makes for a truly incredible taste!
